What is ISPT?
ISPT is a non-profit worldwide
organization formed with the intent of connecting all categories of
trackers. Connection means a newsletter, a website, a clearinghouse
directory, annual symposiums, and any other way of communicating we (all
ISPT members) can think up as we grow. The benefits of connecting will be to
share knowledge and interest in tracking.
We desire to further the use of tracking
in areas such as military applications, biodiversity studies, law
enforcement (investigation and pursuit), land-use issues, search and rescue,
wildlife management, and more …
We exist for paid and unpaid "volunteer"
professional trackers:
Biologists, tracking instructors, hunters, trappers,
naturalists, teachers, scouts, photographers … and those hobbyists who are
just interested in its occasional usage.
NEWS
Tracking 2010 will be Oct. 8-10, 2010 in WI.
| Track and Sign (T&S) and Trailing evaluations will be
offered before and after the ISPT 2010. Because we will have two
evaluators for the T&S eval, specialist and senior certification
can be achieved!! We will be insured a high quality evaluation.
This is a powerful learning opportunity for all who are
interested in animal tracking: for scientific research,
recreation, teaching, and land stewardship.

2010 page for info |
